About Us

Das Seva Samiti (DSS) is a non-profit, service-oriented organization with a vision of supporting society, particularly those in need. Our primary focus is on providing financial assistance to individuals living below the poverty line, especially for their basic needs, such as children’s education and small-scale business development. We collaborate with government schools to ensure that children receive quality education.

Additionally, we prioritize the well-being of families by emphasizing access to healthcare services, primarily through government hospitals. Das Seva Samiti also undertakes initiatives to enhance the infrastructure of schools and hospitals, including the provision of facilities like washrooms and clean drinking water.

Moreover, we assist those in need in acquiring technical skills and finding employment opportunities to help them sustain their livelihoods. As compassionate individuals, we are dedicated to animal welfare activities, including providing shelters and meeting their feeding requirements.

Our Approach
Presently, Das Seva Samiti’s focus extends beyond charity and welfare to encompass the comprehensive and holistic development of communities. We achieve this through a Community Adoption Programme (CAP) model, which results in the transformation of entire communities. Our organization operates in numerous communities across India, carefully chosen through consultations with the government and based on the specific needs identified within these communities.

How we Operate
We embrace a comprehensive approach to development, focusing on four key pillars: education, health, environment, and livelihood through skill development. All our projects are meticulously crafted to address these vital facets of development within the communities we engage with. Our target demographics encompass a wide spectrum of society, including children, women, men, individuals requiring specialized care (such as those with disabilities, the elderly, and the ill), as well as victims of natural disasters. In addition to our Community Adoption Programme (CAP), we extend our services to the community through various outreach centers, including Das Seva Samiti.
